Normal trend is full bass. But after wearing full bass headphones for a while my ears got sensitive, I didn't realize it until I started using these headphones. Less bass means I can turn up the volume a bit without sounding too loud. it means I can hear more detail in the song. I'm listening to effects I've never heard before. Also, the noise cancellation is the BEST I've ever had. Seriously, my wife was yelling at me from the room next to my office. then she came and put a sick procrastination line right next to me, and then I understood. Damn, those are headphones. I said honey. Listen to this. Your problems melted away. Warning, I only have them for 1 day. Also, this is my second Edifier product. The first was Edifier Prisma 2.1, also a great product, I bought it in 2013. He's still working. Edifier, you make me believe
