This is the second motor resistor I have purchased from this company since June. The first gave me 3 speeds instead of 8 but was still better than what I had. I stopped working after three months. I bought another one because I couldn't find the part anywhere else. I had surgery and couldn't put it on right away. I installed a new one and less than 48 hours after installing it I walked out and within minutes of turning on the air conditioner I smelled burning electrical wires. In fact, I was afraid my truck would catch fire. To make matters worse, we couldn't turn off the air conditioning. I tried to get off the road and even turn off the truck, but the air conditioner wouldn't turn off. I was driving to my son's house about 10 minutes away and we had to remove the resistor module. It smelled like everything inside was on fire. I'm very disappointed and now I can't get my money back. I do NOT recommend!
