Everything worked. The instructions can reveal just one little thing more. Air collects under the glass where the small suction cup was attached. Therefore, you may not want to press down on the suction cup first and leave a small gap there to let the air out once the suction cup is removed. Also, you may have to push out that little air pocket at the end. In addition, everything went great.
