This was my first Set of spin poi flags. But not my first poi. I wanted a challenge and thought these would be beautiful. I got them in February 2022. In July 2022 one of the balls went on a journey of its own. One of the connectors broke and the ball went flying. After retrieving it I was rather disappointed. They don’t get a lot of use as the wind makes it difficult. Coming out of winter, into spring the wind was pretty bad. I ended up taking the silks off often because I did like the Weight. The silks shredded pretty quickly. I wasn’t too worried and had just ordered fabric for new silks when the balls broke. Sucks.For a beginner they aren’t bad. You really get the feel of silk poi. Don’t expect them to last and make sure you are ready for an upgraded pair.
