They look pretty but if you are trying to do a live performance with these steer clear from the long ones. I'm a really good poi spinner but your skill level won't matter with these. The fabric catches on everything and you'll find it tangling on your arm even if you're executing the move correctly. Only buy for photoshoots or for fun, not for serious live performances.

This was my first Set of spin poi flags. But not my first poi. I wanted a challenge and thought these would be beautiful. I got them in February 2022. In July 2022 one of the balls went on a journey of its own. One of the connectors broke and the ball went flying. After retrieving it I was rather disappointed. They don’t get a lot of use as the wind makes it difficult. Coming out of winter, into spring the wind was pretty bad. I ended up taking the silks off often because I did like the Weight.

I do love these poi. I think they're worth the price, very high quality, HOWEVER.If you've never tried poi or other flow arts before, this is not the set for you. You need to create a foundation with a lighter set of poi before you jump to silk veil poi. You will hit yourself. It will hurt. These balls are very heavy, and you should start with something lighter. And, veil poi are harder to work with if you don't have a foundation in poi. As you can see in the video I am very much a beginner at this. They are absolutely beautiful though, in my opinion the weight of the poi balls is perfect, not too heavy but not too light either. Definitely going to practice more with 1 before I incorporate the other but its nice to have the extra for a friend or for when I'm capable of using 2. If you're thinking about it, buy them, I'm super pleased !

The silks are really pretty and the flow really well. But they are really long and get wrapped around me. Also the poi balls are rather light and I find that I have to put some gusto behind the spin. not a bad product, but I wouldn't buy again.

I was so happy to see my package arrive, but it only came with the silks. The product description listed as "Package included: 2pcs x Belly dance throw balls." I am so sad that not everything was included.**The seller was really nice and resent me the missing pieces immediately. This is a great purchase and so much fun to flow with.

These were not for myself, however, the balls seem to be a good weight, and softness. The silk is pretty long, but easy to adjust. Very visually pleasing.

They're beautiful. Just beautiful. I have no idea what I'm doing, but they're gorgeous. Used them at comicon for my waterbender cosplay from Avatar The Last Airbender and they were a hit! I wish I'd bought the smaller ones because I'm 5'2", but it's just an extra challenge to get better!

The poi balls were great but the balls were slightly uneven. I tied them so they were fine, but the weight is probably slightly off now. They still work great, but you pay for what you get I guess.

These are my first poi and I love them! The silks are a pretty cheap material but it looks pretty in action. They tangle kinda easy but it’s not bad considering it’s expected with how long they are. Great for beginners because the silks attach and disattach so I can practice with just the poi balls too!

Got this for drag, and it moves really nicely! And great for the price! Def recommend ! :) I def also recommend to steam these to remove any unwanted wrinkles!

The poi are pretty lightweight and have a very odd, overpowering smell to them, sort of like barbequed plastic. I wanted to message the seller but the option wasn't there and I missed the return window by one day. I didn't see any reviews that mentioned smell so it wasn't something I was expecting.If you are sensitive to smells, these are not the poi for you.

Accidentally bought the larger ones instead of the smaller ones so it's harder to spin, but it is still fun to spin. The color is bright and beautiful

I purchased these for dance and it was hard trying to attach the fabric to the ball piece. I was afraid that I was going to rip it because the fabric is so soft.

These veils were so much more beautiful than I thought they'd be. Bought them as a last minute addition to an event, wasn't really optimistic about them but they are GORGEOUS. Worth the money.

It's adjustable and there's TONS of silk material - it's not short! There's weight to them too so it's a really nice set. Not like most sets you see. I'd buy again. My daughter loved them

Overall the product is pretty darn average. While the craftsmanship is fine, the veils are both way too long and too delicate to be practical for any real spinning. Additionally the design is kind of faulty since the knots on the poi chords tend to catch the veils on any tight spins. And since they're so delicate the knots frequently put runs/rips in the fabric.There's a loop on the bottom of each weight, I assume to attach the veils, but I personally don't know what kind of knot the producers…

Sadly these are pretty, but almost unusable. The silk drag is dramatic and too heavy for the weight of the ball. Using provided string hole ripped. Not good for actual tricks or dancing unless you like to get wrapped up and hit yourself. The only pair I've owned that's u canr use. Bummer, a waste of money.

Just took these poi balls and tails out for the first time. After performing the basics, gaining an understanding of weight distribution, adjusting for light wind speed, etc. I went in for practicing a figure 8 with mild success. With practice, it became easier, but any mistake creates a tangle. Unfortunately, these tangles were the result of the silks snagging on the tether knots.
