Review on 🎮 Retro-Bit Official Sega Genesis USB Controller: Arcade Pad for Sega Genesis Mini, Switch, PC, Mac, Steam, RetroPie, Raspberry Pi - Clear Blue by Michael Schafer

The weight, feel, buttons and d-pad all feel ultra premium, just like the original Genesis/Mega Drive controllers of the second generation of Sega. With additional buttons on the shoulder and an additional button labeled 'Mode' so you can also use this controller to emulate the Sega Saturn. This controller works natively with the Blast 16 project, and when you use the "mode" button as the software's "hot key" button, it provides a wonderful interface for toggling, saving/loading state, exiting the game, etc. commands. This controller is also perfect for other 6-8 button games like classic arcade and mother games. As an added bonus, the controller comes with a hefty 10ft cable, so you can sit very far away from your console/computer with ease. I really can't think of any cons for this product, it's hard to find a good reliable yet solid controller with all the extra modern features in one package. This product is a dream come true. I would recommend the manufacturer to make a Sega Saturn controller with a mode button, I would rather buy this controller but it didn't have the mode button it has. I prefer the hand feel of the Japanese Sega Saturn controller so I would buy it if it had the same features as this Sega Genesis controller. When Retro-Bit releases an updated Sega Saturn controller with a mode button design, I look forward to reviewing that product. All in all a great quality product.
