Use original push rivets

BLUF: The screws provided are rubbish, don't waste your time. Be careful when removing the plastic push rivets holding your fairing together and reuse them to attach the fenders. The fenders fit great, look fantastic and shed dirt and grime like a champ. The kit includes screws, throw them in your trash. Drawer as they are not connected to any part of the Escape. You will need to remove the plastic push rivets to access the mounting holes. Be careful when removing them so you can use them in place of screws. The front flaps are the hardest (especially with big hands) as the bottom hole is the loosest support material. So you will try to push the rivet through the flap and the trim and backing material to hold it in place. I've found that a screwdriver inserted under the car between the metal and trim allows you to hold the backing material in place so you can try to get a rivet through both. . . It was a nightmare, but I don't want to go without it as without a good grip, this flap will definitely be sitting like a loose tooth. fix that check valve. Too bad not on either side because I accidentally kicked that one and that sucker isn't going anywhere!
