Review on Fusion MS SW10 10 Inch Marine Grade Subwoofer by Eric Webb

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great value for money, powerful marine subwoofer for your boat!

Hits Hard, Hits Deep, Another Fusion Award Winner! This is a free-air subwoofer, meaning it's perfect for installation in a boat or on an outward-facing seating wall. This subwoofer will sound absolutely awful until it's securely mounted with open air in the front and some room in the back to push the air through. Once securely installed it adds a nice deep tone and punch and completes a mid-sized system to perfection. Installation Guide; here is nothing. They assume you already have a subwoofer installed, but it's not that difficult. There is a pattern that you can measure and mark on the service. My surface was soft vinyl over furniture, so I found the center, made sure there was enough room in the cavity for the speaker (and for air movement), then marked the "cut line" with dotted lines. Template (see pictures). I then cut from the center to the dotted lines, essentially slicing the cake. I sealed these loose pie pieces with tape, found my center hole (which I used to mark), then used the Malco hole cutter with my drill (I had both) and cut right in the cut line. The speaker matched perfectly as the template was perfect. The screws are all on target.
