I had a pair of these sketchers before and it was worn out so I bought another pair. This second pair is much inferior in quality. - Many signs of wear on the upper. They look like wrinkles or cracks in the skin. I don't know if it was because I wore it for 5 minutes to check it or if that's how they came. Due to the signs of wear, the shoes looked like they were a few weeks old. Memory foam, as many have pointed out, is no longer a relaxed step. This is regular Sketchers memory foam, which feels more durable than profile foam. Some of the seams of the shoes have transparent glue. I understand that shoes use glue to assemble, but I have never owned a shoe that leaked so much glue that I noticed it. I really liked my original relaxed step pair. But there's clearly a big drop in quality with this new set of shoes. I won't buy these again. - Updated on 06/20/18. I downgraded a star from 2 to 1. These shoes actually give me heel pain. I noticed that the left shoe is actually slightly curved up in the middle of the shoe. I thought I would wear it within 2 weeks but it doesn't and it's causing problems with my foot. The quality has really gone downhill on these shoes.
