I connected it to the fan circuit of the heat exchanger. The fan turns on, the solenoid is activated and water enters the mists located around the heat exchanger. This cools the air flowing through the heat exchanger by about 20 degrees. On a 105 degree day, the temperature of the air passing through the heat exchanger is actually closer to 85 degrees, which means the air conditioning is more efficient than usual.
