Used this setter to fit 1/4" black grommets in a Kydex pistol holster I make. I was more careful and it fit perfectly. I just had to make sure that i hold the cube flush with the base of the stud and that i hit the top nice and flush and tap a little, checked it, tapped a little more, checked it.repeat this process until it was installed correctly.it takes a while longer than setting up an arbor press, but the cost comparison makes this handy tool more economical if you only need to set the occasional chock.A little practice may even make this the best route for some people.
