Great quality great price works great

Used this setter to fit 1/4" black grommets in a Kydex pistol holster I make. I was more careful and it fit perfectly. I just had to make sure that i hold the cube flush with the base of the stud and that i hit the top nice and flush and tap a little, checked it, tapped a little more, checked it.repeat this process until it was installed correctly.it takes a while longer than setting up an arbor press, but the cost comparison makes this handy tool more economical if you only need to set the…

Doesn't fit, doesn't cost anything

The finished page doesn't fit in the anvil and is therefore hardly usable. I tried using a piece of wood instead of an anvil. After breaking the grommets for half an hour, I used a punch on the finished side (where you would normally use an anvil) and then sanded the back of the grommet with a rounded hammer - they came out perfectly. I'm an amateur blacksmith and gunsmith and have a lot of experience with hand riveting - so this worked well for me - not sure I would recommend it to anyone who…

The anvil doesn't work at all. Also made in China.

Anvil doesn't fit the molded side of the 8-8 1/4 stud. You're better off throwing it and just using a piece of wood as an anvil, but then you probably remember the eye when you hit it with the tool's bat. I used a hole punch and anvil to install 6 grommets (made in the USA) and each has large anvil shaped geometry dents on the preformed side. Maybe someone packed a large batch of these things for retail. Bag with the wrong anvil size. My size seems to fit a 5/16 stud. In any case, this is…
