The finished page doesn't fit in the anvil and is therefore hardly usable. I tried using a piece of wood instead of an anvil. After breaking the grommets for half an hour, I used a punch on the finished side (where you would normally use an anvil) and then sanded the back of the grommet with a rounded hammer - they came out perfectly. I'm an amateur blacksmith and gunsmith and have a lot of experience with hand riveting - so this worked well for me - not sure I would recommend it to anyone who has never hand cleaned rivets before. I'm going to bring this back and make my own anvil and punch - I think I'll design it to work in my 20 ton press, not a hammer.
