I really like this seal. How can you be happy about a pad? The quality is made in the USA and no silicone is needed at all. Just clean the surface and put it and the lid on. Perfect fit and well sealed, that's all you need. I'm now a lifelong fan of Locker glide pads and won't think twice about getting another one if the need arises.
