I have used this as an alternative to a reliable RTV when changing the fluid in my diff. Out of the box it looks like a high quality gasket. I was impressed. It's been a few months now and the bottom of my diff is still dry. Will definitely buy again!

Excellent gasket or seal. No need for messy sealing. This is my first time using a Lube Locker rear differential seal and I will NEVER use anything else! Good product. It does what is advertised. Don't even hesitate when you think about it. Just get it! You will not regret it!

I really like this seal. How can you be happy about a pad? The quality is made in the USA and no silicone is needed at all. Just clean the surface and put it and the lid on. Perfect fit and well sealed, that's all you need. I'm now a lifelong fan of Locker glide pads and won't think twice about getting another one if the need arises.

Much neater and cleaner than RTV, better seals, more durable and more resistant to excessive torque Felt, cork or paper seals. Let's face it, most of us can't bring ourselves to leave 15lb-ft torque bolts on, and this gasket won't crack if you tighten the bolts until it "feels tight". And you won't waste time cleaning it next time you take it apart.

Perfect fit for my 250 F250. I installed a remanufactured aluminum cover and used this gasket. I was initially skeptical about not using sealant as the rubberized part of the gasket doesn't feel very thick and the whole thing actually appears thinner than one would expect. However, a few weeks later absolutely no leaks or seepage of any kind. I used emery cloth to clean the gasket surface and torqued the cap screws to 33 lb-ft.

I came across this gasket when I was buying an aluminum cover for my late '99 heavy car. Decided to give it a try. I will never buy another seal again and will not bother with an RTV for a differential seal. I will only buy these. Arrived packaged as if they really wanted it shipped to you in usable condition. Good quality. Ride light and leak free. It looks like it can probably be used multiple times as long as it doesn't overheat and flatten the o-ring material. A new favorite in my tool box.
