I used my first pair until they broke (jumped out of the pedal), the rubber quickly runs out, then there is a loud knock when walking, slippery on tile floors. I've crashed a few times when I missed the first attempt at disengagement, but they stay on the pedals even when pedaling hard. They are nice and efficient and really help you get on your bike and uphill. Maybe next time I'll go to the SPD so I can be like my friends and also ride a mountain bike. Although I've been riding those days, my SPDs have popped up under pressure, but that may have been due to wear. One cool thing about LOOKs is that when you click they make a nice loud click to let people know you mean business.
