I bought this size line because Jenny from MSQ showed it and I had problems with flying geese. I thought this size was pretty standard but found it wasn't. None of the patterns I've made on blocks recently are this size. The line is too big. I think if you design your own quilt and make the geese a little bigger it would help, but so far it's been a waste of my time. I thought 3/12 by 6 1/2 was pretty standard, but I think I'm wrong.
