Review on Jasonwell Magnetic Aquarium Fish Tank Glass Algae Cleaner - Floating Brush (L Size) by Jeremiah Small

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I have a fish against my will.

I was relocated to an office with a giant gold fish in a giant tank (possibly not big enough tank) and though I do not want this fish, and I am caring for it completely against my will, I was entirely offended by the state of the glass/water clarity.I replaced the filters and that helped, but there was so much algae on the glass I didn’t know what to do. I remember seeing a magnetic scrubber in a tank at a Chinese buffet- so here I am.This one did the trick! Now, I do really struggle with putting on and off the metal and plastic straight edge things on and off it, but otherwise, it’s been fantastic. My office mate approves too, I think.

Pros
  • Convenient and practical for regular cleaning
Cons
  • Can be difficult to use at certain angles

Edit to add: they were very responsive to my review and pics I sent. They have shipped me another. Hoping for better results.I’m actually disappointed in it. Used for the first time on our 10 gallon. Not only are the magnets not as strong as the old Magna Float brand I’ve had for 12 years or more, but the pad on outside tank part started coming loose at the corner, leaving glue streaks. Took over a decade of use for my old one to start doing that. Guess you get what you pay for. Magna Float much more expensive than yours.
