Purchased for the car windshield and two front side windows to protect us from bright sunlight entering the car when we are driving. One shift didn't work. I had to put a second coat on the driver's side so my husband could drive safely. Simply peel and stick. and you can take it out. and paste it again. it will still stick. But in the cold winter, the lining flies on the corner. Just push back. But I suppose it can help if you just use it for privacy - just use one layer. I do not know. Didn't try.
