Review on πŸ–ΌοΈ Premium Series Fixed Flat Panel Mount Black for 51-70 inch TVs: Sanus VLL5-B1 by Keshia Harvell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great easy to assemble mount.

I needed a permanent mount for my new 60 inch Sony Bravia LCD TV and Sanus was a pretty popular choice so I jumped at it straight away. some frustration during installation so you have to choose one and just jump in. Anyway, the mount turned up and the instructions for mounting it to the wall and TV were pretty clear. The cardboard template provided made it really easy to figure out where the TV would be mounted and to pre-drill pilot holes, although you will need to check where the VESA screw holes are on your TV to get the exact height. Every TV is unique, So this is very important! The TV can be mounted significantly higher/lower than another TV depending on where these screw holes are located. no problem installing my KDL-60W610B in seconds (literally) using this method. However, you definitely need a friend when installing a large TV, even if it doesn't weigh that much. For the record, I couldn't find any bolts while installing the mount, so I had six (exaggerated!) 100b drywall anchors (+ the screws they came with) but with washers I bought at a local hardware store on these smaller screw heads were used with the bracket. Since my TV weighs only about 40 pounds without the stand, I don't have to worry about the TV falling off the wall. A few tips: Be too obsessed with getting it installed EXACTLY right on the side. 2.) Although you should try to get the alignment as close as possible - again don't get too pushy. There are some easy-to-turn adjustment screws to level the TV on either side if needed when it's on the bracket. I really like the little knobs to tilt the bottom of the TV if you need to connect cables etc and it's an extremely secure mount. My only concern is that since my TV's mounting screws to the TV are quite low, the TV itself tilts down very, very slightly due to the heavy nature of the top of the TV. I fixed this by wedging some material behind the center, the bottom of the TV, between the TV and the wall. Fix it in two seconds! For many this does not pose a problem, depending on where the screw hole is on the TV. Overall, this is a great mount and an easy recommendation. 4.75 out of 5. Excellent.
