I'm replacing a set I got over 10 years ago because they seem to be failing and are popping up more often than before that will tell you when you need to reset them. I usually check them every time before entering, but they add an extra layer of security by having an indicator. I use a regular hanging bar for the weight. I'm loving the metallic finish at the moment and need to see how they hold up to water stains. I don't think my husband will polish them when he cleans them and I'm bedridden so they have to take responsibility for themselves and just not get stained! I trust Carex and have several products from them. I hope they hold up as well as the last set.
