Review on 🔒 Master Lock Stainless Steel Barbell Receiver Lock - 5/8 in. Fit (1469DAT) by Robbie Guinn

Just a warning I had two of these rusted to the point where the key wasn't accepted very quickly. I installed a bumper/rear step on my 4Runner that is supported by a hitch and I wanted it to be anti-theft. The locksmith said that the first time it was given how new it was at the time someone must have super glued it on! I couldn't believe it, but since he's a pro and he was only 6 months old at the time, I ordered another one. Since then I've moved to another city and in fact it's frozen and the key won't go back into the lock. The rubber cap is a joke. It's just poorly designed, doesn't keep water out and doesn't fit directly into the lock itself. It either exploded leaving the lock fully exposed to the elements, or it leaked and then moisture was left in the lock. This is all a joke. I'm glad some people have gotten good service from them (it cost more than the purchase price of the lock to have the locksmith remove the first lock) but I took the Sawzall to my second captured lock so I could use it to make a trailer could pull damn thing. It was easy to cut. I recommend CONTINUE SEARCHING.
