My VERY ACTIVE 5 year old son needed stitches in his lower leg. He had/should (currently still undergoing treatment) severely limit the use of his knee while the stitches were in place and was not to bend the knee beyond the natural "sitting in a chair" position. We went to FOUR CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL because they wanted to assign him limited knee immobilization. However, they were not in ONE hospital! This both blew my mind and pissed me off! I had to enlist the help of a medical supply company and pay over $70 out of my own pocket so they could make a special order for him. They described it to me and showed me pictures. However when it FINALLY got to the medical supply store it wasn't what I was told, it was cheap and just trying to install it on the hill caused the straps to fray and fall apart at the store. He would NOT allow any movement at all, which is not what I was initially told about the product. They wouldn't let us bring it back to the store because they had to make it a special order. Frustrated with my son being in pain and not getting the proper support from the appliance he deserved, I turned to Revain and found 2 braces that I thought might work. THIS BRASSECA WILL SAVE LIVES! Firstly it is so well made with high quality materials, non-slip materials in the brace to prevent slipping, extra padding around the knee hole and my son has very slim legs and the 3 straps allow me to snap in securely. I've put it on and off many times since I got it and it still looks brand new! It also allows him to bend his knee enough to do what his pediatrician now allows him to do after having his stitches removed BUT does not allow him to bend beyond a certain point which could lead to further injury ! He has never complained about being uncomfortable and loves the blue color and the freedom it has now given him back! It arrived very quickly and was part of what the 'medical' braces joke was! I would buy it again in a heartbeat and pay more than the current price they are asking! This is life saving!
