I give the side rails five stars. They went exactly as advertised and as instructed. The problem is that the crossbars (CB) don't just slide into the side rails as advertised. The instructions say not to remove the rear rail covers, insert (CB) into the slots on the side rails in place and tighten the thumbscrews. The rear side supports prevent (CB) from slipping past them. I took everything apart and figured I could just pop the (CBs) in and then reassemble. NO. I tried inserting (CB) into the side rails but they still wouldn't go in without force. I started one (CB) on one end of the side rails and the other on the other end. I hammered them in with a rubber mallet until I could reattach the front and rear fasteners to reassemble everything. Crossbars get NULL. I either have the wrong side rails or the wrong crossbars. Not entirely happy with the overall package.
