Cooled my 15 " MacBook Pro Retina

My 15" MacBook Pro Retina gets very hot and noisy during rendering. I envisioned this cooling pad sounding like a tornado, but I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is even at high speeds. My MacBook now feels cool and the internal fans barely turn on. Another bonus is that I used to have to constantly open up my MacBook to get rid of all the dust that was sucked in over time, now there's no need to. since the cooling pad does most of the work. Many Thanks. To update. It's been about two years, if not a little more, and I'm happy to report that this cooling pad is still working. I ran duct tape and used an X-Acto blade to place the lights on each side of the display as they can't be turned off and I didn't want to take it apart to turn off the LEDs. The lights under the laptop don't bother me. since I can only see them from behind when I tilt them on my own stand built into my lab top case. This thing works 24/7, I never turn it off except when I take it outside to blow out the dust that has built up. I took apart my MacBook to see if it needed cleaning and there was next to nothing. Before the advent of the cooling pad, I would open up my MacBook every two months to do preventative maintenance to keep the MacBook running as cool as possible. Now I can easily go a year without cleaning my MacBook, but even if I don't have to, I still clean because it just makes me feel better, I love talking about my stuff. I really like that I no longer have to open my laptop every two months. This cooling pad was a great investment, there were a few years when my MacBook got uncomfortably hot. There were times when I wouldn't have been surprised if my laptop was about to fail. Since investing in this product I have had no more heat issues. By the way, I had this product for about a year before realizing it went through the USB ports on the back. I have no idea why I missed the USB ports, but given the limited number of USB ports on a Mac these days, they certainly come in handy. I would happily buy another cooling pad if mine should fail. Many Thanks.
