This is the uninsulated version I use for summer diving. I used to wear wool socks but they need drying between uses and will stretch over time. The only issue I have is durability. It's my fault because for one reason or another I wear socks without shoes. Synthetic fabric tends to wear out when in contact with rough surfaces like rocks and my unfinished deck. Most importantly, my wetsuit slides easily over the synthetic fabric when putting on and taking off. I'm a size 11 wide so that's a big issue.
