This product does not fit Honda Recon TRX250. Hence the reason they give you a new shift cable is because the OEM needle valve doesn't fit the new carburetor. The shifter cable is also too long and doesn't work with the included carburetor either. I actually damaged the throttle when I installed a new cable. As for the carburetor, the stock carburetor has all the hose connections on the left side, this aftermarket carburetor has them all on the right side. So your fuel and vacuum lines can fail. Rather than sending this carburetor in, I used it primarily as a rebuild kit. Do yourself a favor and buy a rebuild kit as the internals on this carburetor are of poor quality.
