Review on 600D Marine Grade Polyester Waterproof Boat Cover - All Weather Protection For V-Hull, TRI-Hull, Pro-Style, And Fishing Boats, Heavy Duty And Durable by Dominic Mayo

Overall a nice cover and a very good value. It fits well and looks great on the boat. If this was the first cover I had ever purchased I would give it five stars, but I'm comparing to the cover it is replacing, and there were a couple of items for which there is room for improvement:- The cover is advertised as 600D weight, but is thinner than the one it replaced. It also has a vinyl or other backing that the original did not have. I don't think there's a weight heavier than 600D, so not sure if the original cover is over specification, or this one is under spec. However, the original cover was more expensive than this cover, and was 10 years ago or so.- There's no gusset on the front of the cover to strengthen the cover. I see this as an issue for two reasons: 1) this is where the cover fits tightly over the marker light, which puts a lot of stress at this point. This is where the last cover wore out first, and it was gusseted with multiple layers at this point. 2), this is also the point that will get stress if transporting the boat with the cover on.- The two straps in the back are different, and must be looped around the frame before attaching to the cover. This is a pain to install and remove if you transport the boat without the cover. These straps should be the same style as the remainder of the straps on the cover. (Also, there's no instructions included, so I may be using these straps incorrectly but have no way of knowing the manufacturer's intent).Otherwise as stated before, the cover is well made and a good value for the price. At this price (compared to the big boat store brands) I figure I can replace it twice as often and still come out ahead. I would recommend this cover for the price point.
