I run an online bakery and bought this SPECIALLY to scoop cookie dough. They were great for the first 1-2.5 weeks when used 3-4 times a week. But here we are about 2-3 months old, and I know I will have to place a new order soon! The release mechanism is already weakened and there are about 4 batches left before it spawns. However, it is EXCELLENT for light doughs and batters. I also use them for cake cookies that I make and they are amazing. But if you're a serious baker, you might want to consider a more durable option if you're ordering a few as a backup.
