This is an easy to see and use device. I bought it because my old CDN thermometer had a crack. In delivery state, it read over 120 degrees. The package says to look online for more information as it came with no calibration instructions. All I could find online was information on how to sell the product. Did an ice water test using google info and it didn't budge. I tried to adjust the measuring nut but could not move the nut. Returned. I bought the same from the local kitchen store which read accurately right out of the box and also started reading the dial at a much lower temperature.
