This tray is my new best friend! It's amazing and I'm glad I bought this style. Especially after weeks of trying to figure out what's best for my cat Luna. When I first received it I thought maybe this box is too big but soon fell in love with the larger size. It's very easy to assemble, just snap the lid on and you're done. I read some reviews that said cats wouldn't use it. I didn't have this problem with my cat. You can see she pees standing up like a girl, so you can imagine my dilemma with that. She pissed on walls, carpets and my floor every time she used her old open tray. When I got the new Iris Top Entry litter box I placed it next to her garden for her to explore for herself. After that I put her in without any bedding so she could see what it was like. After she was done examining, I filled her with trash, picked her up, and put her back in. She danced all over the place with her junk and used it right away! I gave her lots of praise and some treats for her good work. Just in case, I put it next to her old box for a night. The next day I took off her cheap litter box and replaced it with a big, awesome new litter box. She had no problem getting in or out of the top entrance. It is very easy to clean, there is less dirt on my floor thanks to the top cover design that allows dirt to fall back inside. There is a special coating on the inside so nothing sticks to it, making cleaning easier. If you have a cat, I recommend trying the Catit Top Entry litter box and you won't be disappointed.
