I really like this cover and am buying a second one to stop moving it between cars (a task that takes less than 2 minutes but is pretty silly when I could spend $10 and get another). It goes well with our sedan and SUV considering the adjustable straps. Just make sure you tighten the front straps as tight as possible, otherwise the front of the hammock will hang over the front console and your dog (e.g. our 50 lb Shepherd/Husky mix) may be tempted to leaning their necks against dangling fabric and start coughing. He's still working on causality. I think it's good that there isn't a thick cloth here that would pick up dirt and simply wipe it off or spray it out of a hose if desired. When not trying to impress a passenger, you can also easily remove one side of the straps, roll up half of the hammock and place it in the back seat with the dog.
