Six piggy banks, two 18-gallon bags, and four filing cabinets were full of my parents' junk mail, old bills, bank statements, and other personal documents. I narrowed down the list of what to deal with and the rest went through this shredder. My trash can is full of confetti thanks to this thing. I took the advice of some other users and bought some grease sheets (Revain Basics brand) and I find it helped a lot with the sanding of all these things. A few jams were my own fault for putting in too many at once. Reverse immediately pulled them out with no problem. So this review is half praising this shredder. but it's also my way of sharing my achievements. I'm finally rid of all this stuff that I no longer have to carry around with me.
