I bought this because the P101 mass air flow sensor error code was causing my check engine light. I first cleaned the MAF which didn't fix the code, then I bought a new MAF which unfortunately didn't fix the fault either. I then decided to spray the throttle body with CRC aerosol cleaner, which requires removing the air intake hose. I was worried about ripping the stock intake hose because it had become dry and stiff over the years. So I bought this part, took only a few minutes to install, I was able to spray the throttle body which eventually fixed the fault code.
