The part was a bit difficult to install because it was a perfect fit and it was cold when we installed it so didn't want to shrink enough to fit. The hardest part of the installation was that the rubber edge wanted to fold over instead of going through the part. Overall this is a simple fix and this part works great. Very satisfied.

The dealer charged over $300 for a replacement including 1.5 hours of labor (ha!). It's not too hard to wipe/vacuum off, but for obvious reasons it shouldn't remain in the air intake component. -1 star for lack of quality control2. If you find it is too tight to slip, loosen the clamps a little first. From the factory they are firmly attached so that they do not fall off.

Yes, that made the 2012 Nissan Sentra fit. But it's a headache to install. Once you connect one end to the intake manifold, you cannot flip the other end to connect to the air cleaner. The same happens if you try the other way around. I ended up hooking it up to the manifold, slipping the other end halfway over the filter, and then using a flathead screwdriver to slowly bend the rubber around the connection until I could fit it. Recently bought to replace a 13 year old original part which I noticed had been damaged when replacing the engine sensors hidden underneath. Perfect fit, very tight. I noticed in the pre-purchase comments that some people said they had trouble attaching the hose. Be sure to loosen the clamps.
