*** BUYER ATTENTION! ***I was delighted to receive this wine stopper with the wine cooler I received for Christmas. However, my joy was spoiled the first time I used it. The first cork we tried didn't even pretend to hold a vacuum. No matter how fast you pumped the bottle and threw it in the fridge, when you got there (5 seconds?) there was no vacuum. The second plug gave a slight vacuum to hold about 30 minutes ago and then it was gone. Both corks leaked when the wine bottle was put on its side so we had a real mess there. I'm so *really* glad we didn't buy them as gifts! will refund me $3.06 - that's probably about what they're worth, but that's a lot** LESS THAN I PAID FOR THEM. **I probably won't bother with the "Wine Type" provider again.
