I look for quality and value when buying car care products and details. While these Liquid X waffle towels are of good quality, they are significantly overpriced. The high quality waffle towels from The Rag Company and Shiney's Detail perform slightly better in my opinion and come at a much better price. While towels from all three suppliers claim to be a 70/30 and 490 GSM blend, The Rag Company and Shiney's are said to be made from Korean microfiber, while these Liquid X towels don't state the microfiber's country of origin. Having used towels from all three vendors, I find Shiney's Detail Plush Wafers to be the best in performance and price. After using and washing these Liquid X towels for a month they seem to shed more fiber/lint into the wash water than I have ever experienced with other brands. In this case, it is doubtful that they will retain their softness and absorbency, as well as others.
