Review on 💾 8TB WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra Network Attached Storage - NAS - WDBVBZ0080JCH-NESN by Tony Doolittle

I'm shocked that so many websites rate these WD cloud devices so highly. I did a lot of research before purchasing this WD Ultra EX2. I doubted buying it because 8-9 years ago they had a 1TB device and hated the UI and the slowness of the backup. I bought a Seagate 4TB about 2 years ago it was great but now I was ready to have a wi-fi cloud at home to have access to all the photos/videos and work stuff I want to make sure that I won't lose her. After months of trying to get it to do what it's supposed to do with my Macbook Pro and iPhone, I can safely say that this device is unreliable and completely DIFFERENT. It never backs up everything that has been processed with phones manually or through the automatic backup process. Tons of things keep skipping and skipping. How can I trust this to confirm anything!?! It hurts to realize I wasted $400. Thought I would eventually make it. I finally decided to contact WD for a refund but I doubt they will. They will blame me, my internet connection or Amazon. DO NOT BUY THIS!
