I only needed one fan and when I saw that it was a list of two I thought "Bonus!". When the fan arrived, I quickly plugged it into my RaspberryPi case. It seemed perfect. It moved a decent amount of air and was completely silent. Fast forward about a week. I'm sitting in my office and I hear a high-pitched "Mrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" as I tilt the Raspberry Pi's case back and the fan's pitch alternates between almost quiet and loud. The noise got louder and louder over the next few days. Spring. I have two fans. I put the second fan in the case, silence again! Hooray, maybe I just have a bad fan. About a week later we were in loud noise again. The fan sits in my office with a few other computers, there isn't much dust in the way and I really did NOT expect the fan to die that quickly. Then again they REALLY died that quickly so I think it may still be in the return window for Revain and I can get my money back.
