Love the spin feature

First we use Krusteaz Belgian Waffle Mix. He can muster up the courage and try the game from scratch. Used it for four different weekends. I did a little research before making this purchase. It's a roll of the dice to get a decent Belgian waffle maker. I wouldn't buy this particular waffle maker because I suspect the top rack isn't heating properly (waffle sticks) which could have a direct link to the random green light feature. I could be wrong but the design and features of this product seem to be below par. Pro: For example the "rotation" function. Can't confirm if this is any better than a non-rotating waffle maker. Makes great waffles (can only be made individually) Easy to use and clean Size and weight to store away Instruction manual has large illustrations and is easy to follow. Cons: The waffles always stick to the top plate, even if we follow the instructions, which clearly state that the top and bottom plates need to be lightly oiled (no non-stick sprays). It's annoying. The green Ready light is useless. After lightly oiling, preheating, and selecting your desired "Done" (just past the middle), the ready light will illuminate a minute after the batter is poured in. Obviously the waffle isn't made. The light will then turn on and off at random intervals. Through trial and error, we set the timer for three minutes to make perfect waffles. After removing the wafer and closing the lid to heat it up for the next wafer, the green light will turn on immediately. Which tells me the green light has no real function compared to waffle baking. It is only useful to let you know when the iron has finished preheating. A very short power cord that presumably can be wrapped around small pins on the bottom of the storage device. No matter how I wound up the power cord, there was no place to store the plug. There is no discussion or illustration of this feature in the user manual.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Not the best
