The higher the temperature reading, the more inaccurate the thermometer

The higher the temperature reading, the more inaccurate the thermometer. At 32 degrees, this Taylor thermometer is almost accurate, but at an actual 145 degrees, this thermometer only reads 130 degrees. It's convenient to use with a metal clip and doesn't require batteries, but the lack of precision makes it useless. most of time. It's fine if you're happy with 15-20 degree readings, but otherwise it's better to buy a digital thermometer or a thermometer with a very limited range.

Pros
  • Dial thermometer
Cons
  • Not as thick as others
