Review on 🪑 White Plastic Furniture Socket by Shepherd Hardware - 5/8-Inch Size for Sturdy Support by William Byrd

I've read all the reviews on them and found that they don't fit properly in 3/4 inch PVC. I had to try them anyway, mostly due to lack of other options. The reviews are correct. They don't fit snugly into 3/4" PVC pipes. In fact they are a very loose fit. I don't understand the engineering behind them. They are tapered and obviously designed to fit round pipes. Pipes made from PVC are measured by the inside diameter, so why would they be loose enough not to stay put when put in. I don't get the logic.Like others I used tape to secure the fit when put in. Aside from one silly design flaw, the casters I snapped easily and held up very well.
