They work very well, have a nice low profile and are easy to use. You may run into a few problems which, I hasten to say, aren't the manufacturer's fault, but come with territory and have simple fixes: (1) Very wide LED strips may not fit into the grooves in the plastic. In this case you can simply cut the edges of the strips with scissors without loss of conductivity (ie without darkening). (2) As with any solderless connector, some voltage loss is inevitable when the metal connectors touch the LED strips, but the loss is negligible unless you have a half-dozen or so connections in series. When you do this you may notice some dimming of the light. The solution is to pry open the plastic with pliers, add a drop of solder to each connection, and reconnect the plastic. Then the light is as bright as if it were connected directly to the power source.
