INDEED!?!? SHAFT 1/2” DOWN?
I'm not a fan of products that deviate from "industry standards" without warning. There was no mention of a 1/2" bottom stem. I would have never thought to check this as 99% of the fans seem to have this and every fan I've installed definitely had a 3/4" bottom stem Oooooh, when I went to both Home Depot and Lowe to find a longer rod, you know what? Like that! Never had 1/2" rods before and I mean they always come in stock. Combine that with the lack of literature in the package and I'm outraged!
