I bought one of these to use in a DIY radio project. I originally thought that adding a rocker switch cover would give it a more industrial look, but in the end I decided to remove the cover and use a bare switch. The cover comes off instantly so removal wasn't difficult. The switch itself is also very easy to install. Depending on your application, you can adjust the depth over 1/4 inch by moving the inner nut. Wiring was pretty easy. I'm still convinced that the labels are switched to terminals, but there are only two ways to connect, so it's easy to understand. If I connect the switch according to the label, the LED always stays on, but the switch still works as usual (just in reverse). Adding an LED to the end of the toggle switch has a great effect as I am using it to power an amplifier and some circuits. A glowing LED lets me know if the device has power (and therefore battery drain). You may find this item cheaper at a parts store or other online retailers, but the convenience of free shipping and bill tracking available through Amazon make this an easy purchase decision. I will definitely buy this item again if needed!
