I needed to drill a large hole in a simple stack of soft wing washers to install six fuel shutoff valves for a project. It is impossible to even drill a hole in a washer! The beat is simply erased. I welded six regular washers to a piece of steel to hold them in place for drilling. I would then ground the welds to separate them. Wing disc holes were 1/4 inch. I drilled them with two big drill bits, gradually enlarging the hole first. When the last size was used with this drill, the drill simply chewed. I sent him back.
