I've been looking for a smart watch for a long time and I wanted to buy an Amazfit GTR on Black Friday, saw the GTR 2 release and decided to buy it. . It has all the features I was looking for and I was happy to get it. Although for the first week I thought I would return it, I've now decided to keep it (unless the battery dies or something). I have a Fitbit Charge 2 and tested my GTR 2 with it. I have an iPhone 11 and it worked quite well with my iPhone. I like round watches and hate square watches, and I also find that a day's battery life is ridiculous. If you are looking for a health watch then Fitbit is very close to perfect, good device, good battery life and a very good app. Zepp (Amazfit app) is not as good as Fitbit but close. Also, I found that I could use it for skateboarding, archery, and horseback riding, which was a pleasant surprise. The first bad thing I saw on the GTR2 was when I scanned the QR on the watch and saw a dead web page and I was very disappointed. . The second bad thing was notifications. Sometimes I don't get some notifications and need to restart my watch. I've tested the watch while running, swimming in the pool, biking, and skateboarding. It's good enough and I've tested it along with my bike and running Fitbit and they're not that different. GPS works well and it's not far away. I don't know if the GPS can be disabled. Sleep tracking isn't great, but it's not bad either. Fitbit is much better at tracking sleep. It has some decent watch faces and I hope they add more. I contacted their support about the notification and they really helped me.
