Review on 🔦 Geeni GN BW912 999 Smart LED Floodlight in White by Christy Jordan

Lamps are perfect, they work. I installed it in our shed to replace my non-smart lightbulbs. But the app is clumsy. Coming from Kasa app, their app is a bit easier to navigate, UI/UX requires a bit of work in comparison, it focuses on a beautiful app rather than a simple and functional app. Why did I say that? The reason is to schedule the time to turn the lights on or off automatically, the schedule button is almost hidden. Why is it hidden? Okay, you could argue that it's not really hidden, but the choice of button color and size goes well with the background color here, so you really have to look and squint to see it. Why not just add a 'Schedule' tab below instead of 'Smart Scenes'? Smart Scenes don't make sense if you can already group devices in My Home. Even adding a schedule is too complicated. Why would I create an "automation" so that it knows when to turn on the light at sunset? Couldn't this just be part of the "schedule" where it currently only limits the hours and minutes of the clock, why not just add the "sunset" and "sunrise" option right here? "Automating" the setting to turn off at a scheduled time for a group of devices doesn't work. I ended up just scheduling the power off via "schedule". There is also no indication that you can delete things. All you had to do was hold the item down and it would ask if you wanted to delete it. What happened to the delete icon? Again, the app's UI/UX needs some serious overhaul or refinement, but real lightbulbs work great, but since the app controls the lightbulbs, I'm having a hard time giving this app 5 stars.
