Broke after less than a year of use

I live in a fairly warm part of the world but the winters can be quite cold. I bought it last year (12/20202) and initially it works great; However, in the last month (10/2021) it has started to disconnect from time to time. I turned it on today and it sounds like the internal components are creaking and it's quite loud. I think the inside of the device must have warped due to the heat generated. It gets pretty hot but I would have preferred to keep the heating on for over a year.
