Review on Leonyo Grilling Barbecue Accessories Stainless by Sheila Gray

Overall this is a pretty solid and durable skewer set! Having used them to grill the chicken, peppers and onions I think here are some pros and cons: PROS: I have used both this set and the set that came with the grill set I ordered. This set was solid and didn't buckle even after I loaded the skewer with food from end to end! The other set began to flex when fully loaded. The "squeeze and push" part (and the price) was the reason I decided to buy this set. When this feature worked properly, it was a real lifesaver! No one had to get their hands dirty or fight with a skewer to get their food. Everyone was very impressed with this feature! - These beautiful and long skewers that allowed me to load them really well. - I love that this set comes with a simple case to store the skewers between uses. - I took a chance on this particular set because the price was cheaper than another set I've seen with a "squeeze and push" feature. The other set mostly had 5 star reviews while this product has no reviews. I was a little nervous about buying this but couldn't imagine spending more than on skewers as I didn't know I would be using them that often! Considering the much lower price of this set, I definitely think it's worth the investment. CONS: Food gets stuck in the part you press to release the food. This makes cleaning difficult. The part you squeeze to get the food off the skewer kept getting stuck on a couple of skewers. I don't know if they were just defective but it made me sad as that's why I bought this set and not the others at Revain. When they finally came off, the part you press to release the food came off too quickly (and then got stuck again) and the juice from the food spilled all over the place as the food collided. One of my guests definitely got juice all over his outfit and I felt awful! Not all skewers had this issue so maybe it could just be a quality control issue? - I really don't like it when these companies consider the bag as one of the items in the set. I'm to blame for the reading error but I thought there were 7 skewers and to be honest I wish there were 8 of them in the set. But there were only 6. Again, this isn't anything I have against the company or the product, just wanted to mention it. I'm just in case someone else doesn't make the same mistake. Overall I enjoy using this set and think it deserves a solid 4 stars. If tomorrow I have the opportunity to add photos the next time I use the skewers, I will try to add them here at this moment.
